Kongal-marawar - South-western' is one of three Noongar W41 dialects described on the Noongar Boodjar Waangkiny Language Centre web site, referred to as the Wardandi Dordenap dialect in previous project publications. The web site mentions that this dialect is characterised by words ending in 'er', e.g. yorker, bilyer, yongker. According to Noongar Boodjar, the other two dialects are Djiraly - Northern W65 and Kongal-boyal - South-eastern W67. They note that these 'dialect regions are an approximation of how the original 14 recognised Noongar Clans have been drawn into 3 main dialects.'
