Dixon (1977, 2002) says that Yidiny Y117, Gunggay Y114, Madjay Y119 and Wanjurr(u) (Y165) are in a dialectal relationship.
The term Yidiny is used by some as a cover term for these dialects.
Documentation on Yidiny Y117 may be relevant. Previously Wanyurr and Madjay were listed together in the Languages Thesaurus (Madyay / Wanyurr Y119).
