At Mount Sturgeon, Mount Emu Plains, Lolworth, and Reedy Springs Stations along both sides of the Dividing Range; on upper Clarke River; east to near Charters Towers (Tindale 1974:178). ... [Gugu Badhun's] southern border was the Clarke River, about where it joins the Burdekin. There they met the Gudjal (also known as Gur(i)djal) (Sutton 1973:14). The northern part of Tindale's Warrungu (between Charters Towers and Clarke River) may be Gudjal country (Breen 2009:244). Gudjal covers a fraction of the Sunshine Coast.
