According to McConvell (2006 p.c.) Jiyilawung (K34) was a language located between Miriwung K29, Jaminjung N18, and Ngarinyman C27 and has been extinct for 100 years or so.
Jiyiljurrung (K34) descendants now speak Gurindji C20 and are considered Gurindji (McConvell in Sutton 1995:109).
... the location given by Tindale is Malngin country. Jiyil lies to the east. They are the people of the Wattie Creek or 'Seale River' area (McConvell in Sutton 1995:109).
