Schebeck tentatively lists Bilamandji (N144) as a Ritharrngu N104 speaking group (2001:88). Oates and Oates list Bilamandyi as a Wulamba (a name given to the cultural area of N.E. Arnhem Land, called Murngin by Warner) dialect, recorded by Capell (1963) and possibly a sub-group of Dalwangu N143.1 (1970:222). In her later work Oates deletes Bilamandji (N144) saying the name is not recognised (1975:387). For Yolngu languages, see Yolngu Matha N230.
