The online Yolngu Matha dictionary describes buwarrpuwarr (N217) as a clan. Buwarrpuwarr is affiliated with Ritharrngu N104. Wilkinson agrees with this description (1991:13).
Heath (1980:2) says that Buwarpuwar (N217) and Mininggiri N218 are sub-groups of Bunanačini N123 mata.
