Comment
Comments:

Little is known about the Peramangk language, though a Peramangk descendant is collecting and compiling language data (viewed 31 August 2015).

Some data is supplied in Tindale (1941:242-43) under the name of Merildakald (S5).

The classification of Peramangk is uncertain. Several sources (e.g. Wurm 1972, 1994; Walsh 1981; O'Grady, Voegelin and Voegelin 1966) group it with Ngarrindjeri S69 as 'Narrinyeric' or 'Ngarinyeric-Yithayithic'. The Mobile Language Team groups it with Kaurna L3 as Thura-Yura.
