Comments:

Yapurarra is a Pama-Nyungan language from coastal Western Australia. On the basis of the limited resources available, Marmion (2007) concludes that Yaburarra (W47) was closely related to Ngarluma W38 and was probably mutually intelligible with it.

According to Oates (1975:70), Jaburarra (W47) (or northern Ngarluma) is one of three dialects of Ngarluma W38, along with East Ngarluma W57 and West Ngarluma W56. This is based on von Brandenstein's research, who also mentions that there is minimal difference between East Ngarluma and West Ngarluma, and that all his informants spoke East Ngarluma (von Brandenstein 1966:2).
