Comments:
This is a people name according to Oates and Oates (1970:202, 209). However, West (1965) made recordings of a language he termed Araku / ?A?u- (Y75), for which he mentions 'Kuku Wara' Y80 as an alternative name. It may be that A'ragu is a dialect of Kuku Wara. Rigsby (1979:90) acknowledges that Koko Warra Y80 is little known and may refer to more than one language, as does Black (1975:1). Given this, A'ragu is now a distinct language heading in this database, rather than an alternative name for Koko Wara (though it may be a closely related dialect).
