Other Dyirbal language varieties are: Gulngay Y126 (Malanbara people), Dyiru Y124 (Dyirubagala people), Dyirbal Y123 (Dyirbalngan or Dyirbaldyi people), Giramay Y127 (Giramaygan people) and Mamu Y122 (Waribara, Dulgubara, Bagirigabara, Dyiribara Y151 and Mandubara peoples) (1972:24, 2002).
