The online Yolngu Matha dictionary describes gamalangga as a clan-nation. 

Bowern and James list the linguistic affiliation of Gamalangga (N100) with Yan-nhangu N72; Yan-nhangu N72 is a member of the Nhangu N211 dialect cluster (Bowern and James, 2010:361).

Gamalangga (N100) is a Yolngu clan listed under the Central and southern sub-groups of the Nhangu N211 language (which includes Yan(n)angu N72) and affiliated with the Dhuwa moiety (see Schebeck, 2001:15-16).
