Comments:
Clark (1996) notes Hercus's (1978) suggestion that Dadidadi S28 was identical to Narinari (D9). However, Hercus (2006 p.c.) agrees with Dixon that Nari Nari is a dialect of Wemba Wemba D1. Further, Hercus (1986:101) says that Dadidadi S28 (and Yidayida D7) 'had no other close associations in the area' and were 'entirely different from the Kulin languages', of which Wemba Wemba is a member.
