Comments:
According to Dixon (1982), Ngaygungu is known only from 187 words recorded by Roth in 1900 and seven by Tindale 1938 and it has about 40-50 percent vocabulary in common with Dyirbal Y123. More recently Dixon (2007 p.c.) says it shares 45 percent vocabulary with Warungu Y133, and from examination of forms of verbs in Roth's list, Ngaygungu appears grammatically more similar to Warungu than to Dyirbal. Documentation on Dyirbal Y123 may be relevant.
