This may be a people name associated with Dhalwangu N143.1 clan of the Dhay'yi language group in Yolngu Matha N230. Schebeck describes uses of different names for the same entity, citing Nharrkala (N116.U) as a name used when talking about old fights or politics, whilst Dhalwa?u N143.1 is used in daily life (2001:47). Similarly, Oates (1975:318, 387) lists this under Dhalwangu N143.1.
