Comment
Comments:
According to Hercus (1994:6-7), Mikiri-nganha is one of three dialects of Wangkagurru L27, the other two being Wangkatyaka L54 and Eastern Wangkangurru L67. Hercus says that Mikiri-nganha (meaning 'from the native wells'), which has also been known as Mungathirri-nganha ('from the high sand hills'), is the Simpson Desert form of Wankangurru. Documentation on Wangkagurru may be relevant.
