According to WA Handbook, von Brandenstein said that Tjarrgudi (A56) was the name commonly used for both Kartujarra A51 and Purtijarra A54.

Oates and Oates (1970:72) report that von Brandenstein collected data from speakers at Jigalong. See also Western Desert language A80.
