Comments:

Koch's analysis of grammatical materials and comparison of vocabulary lists leads to the conclusion that the Canberra language and Wolgal / Walgalu S47 along with Ngarigo S46 the language of the Monaro, are dialects of the same language (2010:149-150).

Koch proposes a people name: Nyamudy-midhang for the Canberra region, based on historical records of the word Namwich, Namitch, and Yammoit Mittong. The latter is a term on many Alpine group names, the other word is presumably the same as Namadgi (2010: 137).
