MacPherson (1904) recognises two groups within the area described for Anewan D24 by Mathews (1903). According to MacPherson the Himberrong D69 and the Inuwon could understand each other, but not the Enneewin D64 (in Crowley (1976:22-23).

Crowley notes the uncertain identity of these names, being 'either closely related dialects ... or sub-tribal units', but uses the term Nganjaywana D24 as a cover term for the two.
