Ian Green says this language probably died before the 1920's and neighbouring groups in the Daly claim it was the language of Peron Island which was linguistically and perhaps culturally distinct from the nearby mainland societies (2007 p.c.).

Black and Walsh (1989) say that this may or may not have been a dialect of Wadiginy N31.
