Gulunggulu is a non-Pama Nyungan language of the Worrorran family, tentatively placed in Northern Worrorran, along with Miwa K44; Gunin/Kwini K36; Gambera K39; Wilawila K35; Yiiji K32 and Wunambal K22 (McGregor and Rumsey, 2009:8).
This name is mentioned in McGregor (2004) but it is not clear what information, if any, is available on this language. McGregor and Rumsey (2009:1, 4) say there are 'a few speakers'. Tindale (1974: 260) lists Kulunggulu under Wenambal K27 as a 'northern horde name'.
