Kulkalgaw Ya (Y4) is a dialect of the Western Torres Strait language Kala Lagaw Ya Y1. Other dialects are Kala Lagaw Ya Y1, Mabuyag Y239, Kalaw Kawaw Ya Y2 and Kawalgaw Ya Y5. This language is also known as Yagar Yagar. Kulkalgaw ya was spoken on Tudu Island, now spoken on Masig (Yorke Island) (Ober p.c. 2007).
